I am an intuitive mixed media artist whose diverse work responds to the spirituality of nature and life’s fragility. Using varying mediums and materials allows me to explore how to reach the viewer through resonate mediums. Each subject, whether a beautiful landscape or a representation of a pressing societal issue asks something uniquely its own. Transparent watercolors allow for landscapes to convey their natural beauty and their evermore delicate balance. Works that speak to our political climate ask for more tactile collage works featuring recycled found bits. Whereas, urgent spiritual messages seek the vibrancy of acrylics and chalk pastels. Each choice gives my audience a window into how we treat the environment, one another and ourselves.
