Biography

Lisa Wagner is a multi-disciplinary intuitive artist who works primarily in watercolor & acrylic. She lives and works on Wellesley Island, NY and, during the winter months, she can be found in sunny Naples, Florida.

Wagner began her art career in 1995. Wagner mainly works in watercolor. She teaches multiple art classes in her studio, online and in local galleries. She most recently exhibited at the “Along the River’s Edge” exhibition held at the Thousand Islands Arts Center in Clayton NY.

Lisa’s work is inspired by the beautiful St. Lawrence River that she lives on, the nature around her there and also in Florida. The planet’s peril and our own struggles with that reality push her to create work that becomes reminders of why this world is worth saving while keeping our own histories and our personal connection to the earth.

Wagner is also the creator of the “Art of Releasing” intuitive painting workshop. She teaches throughout the US helping students heal through art and connection.
